2. Local File Processing

PDF Toolbox is designed to process files locally on your Mac. You are responsible for selecting, opening, editing, saving, exporting, or deleting your own files.

The app does not take responsibility for accidental loss, corruption, overwriting, or deletion of files. We recommend keeping backup copies of important documents before editing or exporting PDFs.

3. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the documents and files you use with the app.

You agree not to use PDF Toolbox to:

  • Edit or distribute documents you do not have permission to use

  • Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights of any person or organization

  • Create, modify, or share illegal, harmful, misleading, or fraudulent content

  • Attempt to misuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app

4. App Features

PDF Toolbox provides tools to help manage PDF files, but we do not guarantee that every PDF will be processed perfectly.

Some PDFs may not work as expected due to encryption, file corruption, unsupported formats, scanned content, unusual layouts, password protection, or system limitations.

OCR results, compression output, editing quality, conversion accuracy, and file size reduction may vary depending on the document.

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

PDF Toolbox may offer paid features, subscriptions, or one-time purchases.

All payments are processed securely through Apple’s App Store. Subscription billing, cancellation, refund requests, and payment management are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.

We do not store your credit card, banking, or full payment details.

6. Free and Pro Features

Some features may be available for free, while others may require a paid upgrade or subscription.

We may change, add, remove, or limit features at any time to improve the app or comply with technical, legal, or App Store requirements.

7. No Professional Advice

PDF Toolbox is a document utility app. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or professional advice.

This includes, but is not limited to, file loss, data loss, document errors, failed exports, incorrect OCR results, printing issues, or business losses.

12. App Availability

We aim to keep the app working smoothly, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every macOS version or PDF file.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the app at any time.
